Emmi can hardly believe she gets to spend the summer in New Zealand helping out with guided whale watching tours and finally being able to swim with her favourite animals – the ones she found comfort in after a car accident left her mentally and physically scarred. Everything could be perfect and the much needed change of scenery to get out of her head, if it weren’t for Valentin, the son of her host family. One moment, he is cold and unapproachable, the next he offers to show her around and to help her overcoming her fear of driving, thoroughly confusing her.
