Monster Sunshine Would Like Some Friends

A story in rhyme about fighting against prejudices, openness, and the courage to reach out and find a connection.
Sunshine likes living in their cave deep underneath the ground – if only it weren’t so lonely down here! One day, Sunshine sets out to find friends among the animals in the forest above. Even though they don’t look the same, Sunshine always shares similarities with them like big ears, red fur, or impressive teeth. But all the animals bolt when they see them, shouting something about a monster. Are they talking about Sunshine? But why, when all Sunshine wanted is to find some friends? Is there no one willing to give Sunshine a chance?
