Ulrike Fischer was born in 1962 on a Westphalian farm in Germany, where she grew up within an extended family. Ever since she was given her first fountain pen, stories have simply kept flowing out of it. She has published various children´s books and lives in a hillside village in Münster together with her husband, child and dog.
Tina Schulte, born in 1974, studied visual communication in Münster and works as a freelance illustrator for a number of children’s publishers. She loves to draw all creatures great and small, no matter whether they purr, bellow, neigh, quack, moo or baa – to the great delight of her little daughter who’d love to own a zoo.
