Time Travellers - Next Hop: Australia! (Volume 1)

An engaging series with a cast of diverse characters, lush settings, and a dash of magic.
For class 6G, it was supposed to be just your average boring school trip to the uplands. However, thanks to a rather unfortunate slightly magical accident, they suddenly find themselves and their bus stranded in Australia – and their teacher whisked away to a lonely island. How are they supposed to get home? And how did they end up in Australia in the first place? Grace and Rio have a suspect: maybe their teacher has magical abilities? Soon, the class is in agreement that if you end up in Australia, even by accident, you should make the very best of it!And thus begins the wildest school trip ever …

Author

Stephanie Gessner grew up in a small village in Rhineland-Palatinate surrounded by meadows and woods. In her childhood, she started to collect beautiful, strange, and funny words and turned them into her own stories. Later on, she studied literature, wrote travel reports for magazines, and is now working as a copywriter, though she loves nothing better than writing novels, short stories, and picture books for children. She lives in Mainz with her family.

Illustrator

After half a life as a chemist, Simona Ceccarelli exchanged her lab coat for a pen in order to pursue her childhood dream. Equipped with a diploma in illustration and concept art of the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco, she has been illustrating books, games, and other products for children since 2016. She lives with one man, one cat, two children, three nationalities, and four languages in Switzerland.
